Dog Behavior Modification

Understanding the difference: Dog Reactivity and Dog aggression is paramount in a proper evaluation of the dog and the client's needs.

Too many times dogs are deemed “Aggressive” when they are truly just Reactive. There are plenty of actual aggression cases, but that may not be your dog. Let our experienced staff help you figure out the best approach for your dog training needs.

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?

Are you interested in getting your dog professionally trained?

Our Behavior Modification course is appropriate for dogs that have EXTREME anxiety, EXTREME reactivity, ALL aggressive behaviors, and  EXTREME fear reactivity behaviors.  This course is designed to work at your dog’s pace in order to build confidence, impulse control, and duration; utilizing structure and obedience,  and pushing for progress without the dog shutting down or having a behavior that could set them back.  We utilize real-life circumstances and environments to help your dog develop a true understanding of the world in general, and how to interact with the world around them.

Since Behavior Modification takes constant and consistent lifetime maintenance, it is important that you and your family have all of the tools you need to be successful at home! While your dog is with us, you will receive periodic emails from your trainer.  These emails will give you an update on your dog, and their progression with training, as well as share training information and tips with you.  When your trainer feels your dog is ready, they will schedule time for you and your family to come in and work with your dog weekly.

Once your dog has completed training, your trainer will give you and your family a class, teaching you how to use your dog’s training and how to implement your dog’s training into your daily life, as well as teach you how to continue working with your dog.

*phone consultations are complimentary. In person evaluations are fee based.
